Dear me I have been a very bad blogger. OK lets start with Wednesday. I had my first weigh in on Wednesday and only lost 300g. really not impressed but also not too surprised. I'm still having a few problems with break old habits. The biggest one is alcohol, who knew I was consuming so many point with those drinks!! So It's time to turn the partying down a couple of notches. On the upside, I was at Dan Murphy's on Saturday night trying to pick a responsible and low point beverage and found a drink called Bundy Bare. Now I am a big fan of bundy and was trying to find something easy as the party was outside so mixing my own drinks would be problematic. So Bundy Bare was the answer. They have created bundy with diet cola!!! It's great so all I have to count is the nip of rum!! i think it worked out to be 1 point per drink so all in all it was alot less points spent and still a good night. :o)
I'm still having a few problems with getting to the exercise part. on Saturday my boyfriend and I walked about 3.5km's in total which was nice, and didn't really feel like exercise either. I also told him last night that I need him to push me to do my 20 mins of Zumba in the morning. He really tried this morning but i justified it by saying we had Pilate's on tonight so I'll still be doing exercise today. Turns out our Pilate's class was cancelled so I will have to do some zumba when i get home.
I have also fallen into a bit of a trap that i want to check on how I'm going fairly regularly, again my B/F thinks this is a bad idea because weigh fluctuates but lately it's just been going up and not down at all. I'm starting to get really frustrated with it because I've been really good this week and stuck to my points and would really like to show up to my WI on Wednesday and have more than a 300g loss. My B/F said that because I'm doing more exercise than I use to do that it's going to take a bit for the weight to fall off because my body is working some of the fat into muscle. Did anyone else have this much trouble to start with??? I really thought the first couple of weeks were big weight losses because you make such a big change in your diet. I was also thinking that maybe measuring once a month will help. What's your best way of tracking your progress if the scales aren't nice to you???

Help!!!
Ok I have been looking at so many fabulous blogs and everyone seems to have their ticker factory weight loss tracker on their blog. I've designed one but can't seem to add it to my blog as a gadget. the closest i got was getting it onto my igoogle page. Any anyone who has one tell me how they did it. I feel so silly right now.
May need to fix my weekend habits
Oh dear, I can't believe how bad I was this weekend. Who knew that liquor had soo many points. I had a lovely night with some friends on Friday but turns out I should of checked the points value before consuming alot of butterscotch Schnapps. :o( I ended up consuming double my allocated points on Friday. :o( The biggest problem is that I just didn't have the energy to burn it off with exercise points on Saturday.
I spent all day Sunday cleaning house so that burnt off some of the excess point but I still have a bit to go. I guess we all just have to learn from the mistakes we make.
i have pilates tonight which will help burn away some of that schnapps. Might try and get some Zumba in after that and then I should be back on track. I'm keeping a close eye on my pedometer and I seem to be doing the healthy amount of steps but I think I might go for 6,000 steps a day. It's going to be hard because my job involves being glued to my computer. But my boyfriend suggested today that maybe I should go for a quick walk during my lunch break. Might see if I can get inspired enough to go out in that cold Canberra air and walk for 20mins.
I also unfortunately lost my grandmother on Friday but have done well to avoid emotional eating which is a big achievement for me. Now all I need to do is kerb the emotional drinking and I'll be fine.
So obviously my biggest downfall is that I'm not super keen on exercise. Do any of you have tips or tricks to get you inspired to go for a walk or do that bit of exercise you really don't feel like doing?
